Visit early in the morning during peak season. The parking area fills up quickly, and the morning hours offer the most beautiful colors and a more peaceful atmosphere. Or directly after 5/6 pm. Paid parking. Personally, I often prefer nearby Spiaggia del Pirata. there are trees that provide some natural shade.

The beach is reached on foot via an unpaved path of about 10 minutes. Leave your car in the Cala Moresca parking area (paid parking).Parking controls are frequent, so avoid parking along the roadside. This is a natural beach with no nearby bars or services, so bring plenty of water and snacks with you.

Look for red "ZTL" signs at the entrance of restricted streets.
Blue Lines (Paid)
Usually paid Mon–Sat 8:00–13:00 and 15:00–20:00. Free on Sundays and holidays. There should usually be a sign with information in the parking area
White Lines (Free)
Yellow lines are reserved for disabled drivers, deliveries, or residents — do not park here.

Driving Tips for Sardinia
SS125 and SP roads can be narrow and winding — drive slowly, especially at night.
Fuel stations can be scarce outside towns — fill up before heading to remote beaches.
Speed limits: 50 km/h in towns; in Olbia it's 30km/h, 90 km/h on regional roads, 130 km/h on highways

ARST buses can be infrequent — check the schedule the night before. In summer, some beach lines run extra services. For Porto Cervo and Palau, leave in the morning to have the full day, as return buses may be limited in the evening.

Taxi & Rideshare
Local Taxi
Available at the station, port, and airport. Radio taxis can be called. Rates are metered — expect ~€15–20 for trips within Olbia, €25–35 to the airport.
Uber / Bolt
Not widely available in Olbia as of 2024. Do not rely on them. Stick to local taxis or pre-booked transfers for airport trips.
If you want to go to the airport on your departure date by taxi, book it couple of days in advance.
